Global Exchange Selects YCD for its Ben-Gurion Airport's Exchange Offices

YCD’s high impact video wall solution, Muvi Wall, has been selected by Global Exchange to operate video walls at the company's four exchange offices in Ben-Gurion International Airport, Israel. Global Exchange, headquartered in Spain, provides foreign currency exchange services to international travelers, in 110 branches at 35 international airports.

Ben-Gurion is Israel’s main airport. In 2011, 12.2 million passengers passed through the airport’s international terminal. Global Exchange’s offices at Ben-Gurion serve passengers in the international terminal’s arrival hall, duty free store, check-in area and baggage claim hall.

The four video walls installed at the exchange offices at Ben-Gurion Airport are composed of Samsung ultra-slim bezel, professional-grade screens, that are connected to Global Exchange’s server via High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). The video walls display currency exchange rates and useful information for passengers, as well as promotional video clips, all of them designed by the marketing team of Global Exchange.

The project was planned, managed and conducted by YCD Multimedia, from concept to implementation.

„Video walls are an excellent tool to attract passengers and create an atmosphere of sophistication and state-of-the-art services. They also allow us to publish all kind of information so our clients are always informed about our prices or promotions“ said Marcos Barchilón, General Manger – Global Exchange Israel. „Muvi Wall is the ideal solution for smoothly operating our video walls, and allows us to show seamless images.“

The MuVi Wall integrates fully synchronized audio and video for unparalleled impact. It can support 3, 6, 9 or 12 separate channels of digital content to be displayed in a completely customizable configuration, on separate screens or across a single canvas, at a single location or many
