Review 2014

For Philips Signage Solutions, 2014 gave us the opportunity to focus on our strengths and core values, and turn those into growth – both physically and in terms of sales. The launch of the SmartCollection platform provided our users with a technology base for Smart applications, allowing them to offer their audiences innovative, impactful and fully customizable solutions. Besides product innovation, we put an emphasis on strengthening our business relationships. We expanded our sales team and increased our partner network to enhance our presence in EMEA. And the introduction of our new Partner Program enabled us to better support the success of our collaborators. We couldn’t be more pleased with the overall results of our efforts. This year, we achieved a solid number 2 position in Southern Europe, and saw a remarkable sales growth of 45% in volume.

Outlook 2015

In 2015, we look forward to building upon our solid foundation by concentrating on innovation, reach and customer satisfaction. From a product perspective, we will continue to offer new features to complement the SmartCollection and address the demand for narrower bezels, higher resolutions, interactive screens and video walls. We aim to increase our EMEA market share to an overall top 3 position by expanding our footprint in existing markets, as well as increasing our presence in emerging markets. The introduction of our “One Team, One Mission” strategy will further support this goal by aligning the focus of the MMD and TP Vision teams on clearly defined Hotel TV, Healthcare TV and Signage Solutions verticals. Finally, we will enhance our customer-centric approach by responding to their unique requirements with customized sales, marketing and service proposals.
