Vero Moda Store Amsterdam
The Vero Moda Store in the main Amsterdam shopping street Kalvastraat follows the corporate digital signage strategy. The brand of the Danish fashion retailer Bestseller Group has some form of digital signage in all of its shops. This kind of strategy which makes a Europe wide roll out necessary is very interesting for an integrator as it is a huge project in total, even as the number of screens per shop is not that high. In case of the Amsterdam shop the displays are fairly outdated with a very thick bezl. The two display video wall is mounted in landscape format behind the cashier counter. The 42” screens are supplied by the Japanese hardware company NEC. Content is classic fashion signage with stills of the current collection combined with image and branding videos. The overall impression is satisfactory yet the installation needs a redesign if it wants to justify its purpose and engage the customer.
