Disney Store Oxford Street

Disney has a well-defined retail experience and digital signage strategy. In 2010 the whole retail concept was redeveloped in 2009 with help of the board member and Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Disneyland itself was the model for the new format resulting in features which would look more like a theme park than a retail outlet. Touch screens allow customers to select their own Disney music and film clips to watch on a displays. The shops are also equipped with at least one display in portrait format mounted on a pole from ground to ceiling. The installation is positioned in the shop window and the technical integration is very good. The location of the displays in the shop window made the choice for a sunlight readable technology imminently important. The loop is made up by current offers in Disney CI. It fits very well the image of the chain and underlines their tailored concept of retail experience for the target group.
