The Sting
The store front on Piccadilly Circus of the fashion retailer The Sting is dominated by two large video walls. The shop windows on the left and right side of the main entrance are completely filled by 4x5 displays each. The video walls are functioning as a background for the shop window display, at the time of the survey this was several mannequins dressed with the current product line. The content was good and fitted the company’s image, it was more branding than product placement. The technical integration could have been better, as the displays were only mounted on not integrated in the shop furnishing and electronic components were in plain sight of the viewer.
