The well-established Digital Signage and Digital out of Home strategy conference will be organized as a joint venture between ISE and invidis consulting in the future. Both partners have closed the contract today at the ISE 2015 in Amsterdam. The new name of the conference is „Digital Signage Summit Europe„.
Integrated Systems Events is a collaboration of the two AV industry associations InfoComm International and CEDIA. InfoComm represents globally the professional audio-visual and information communication industry. CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) is a federation of companies that are specialized on the planning and installation of electrical systems in the private and home sector. Both associations organize events, conferences and trade shows around the world from the USA over India to China. With the Integrated Systems Europe in Amsterdam they also are responsible for the worldwide biggest Digital Signage show.
The „OVAB Digital Signage Conference Munich“ has been held now for the eighth year running by invidis consulting together with the industry association OVAB Europe. At the last conference 350 attendees from the Digital Signage and Digital out of Home industry came to the Kempinski Hotel at the Munich airport.
OVAB Europe will continue to be the co-host of the conference and also the successful concept with panel discussions, presentations, exhibition area, networking and events will remain the same. The joint venture with the ISE will guarantee a much more international focus for the event and drive the expansion to other markets.
ISE Managing Director Mike Blackman commented: “invidis is recognised as a leading expert in the provision of content and analysis of the digital signage marketplace while ISE excels at AV event management. There will many synergies and growth opportunities to come from this move and it further demonstrates ISE’s ambition to be at the forefront of providing market intelligence and thought leadership in the sectors in which it operates.”
He continued, “For existing clients of Invidis it will be ‘business as usual’. All of the existing staff and management team that work on the conference will remain in place.”
Florian Rotberg, invidis Managing Director, added: “The Digital Signage Conference in Munich has increasingly become a European event in the last years. There are more and more international projects in the market and on the other hand the industry in Germany can learn a lot from other countries. Teaming up with ISE to build on our current position and to develop the conference brand internationally represents the perfect partnership. Now we can offer our exhibitors and visitors an even more successful conference.”
