Partners arrived from far and wide, the resonance surprising even the organisers themselves. Partners including DS Digital Screens (Venco, based in Barcelona), Cisco (UK), Videra (Finland), didas and Mettler Toledo (both based in Germany), Kapsch Business Com (Austria) and others from the Grassfish ecosystem came together to present and discuss current digital signage approaches and projects.
Managing director Roland Grassberger and his team presented the Grassfish product roadmap for 2013, which includes many new features such as Active Directory support. They also introduced the “Grassberry,” their new Raspberry Pi-based media player which supports the full functional scope of the Grassfish software. Partners were also treated to a preview of the upcoming summer relaunch of Grassfish’s corporate design, complete with a new logo.
The event concluded with an evening programme that celebrated Grassfish’s move into their new office just last autumn. The new office offers ample space for the now 30-member team, which is set to continue its trend of growth this year.
