Infocomm separates Middle East show from Gitex

Infocomm MEA opened its doors yesterday with big news. The AV show will separate from IT show Gitex starting next year. The organizer expect a better focus on AV topics as a standalone exhibition In 2016 the show will take place 6-8 December in Dubai.

The new campaign “It’s all about you” was kicked-off Monday with the start of the 5th edition of Infocomm 2015. In the past five years the exhibition has grown to the leading AV show in the region. But the considerable larger Gitex IT-show dominates the scene at Dubai World Trade Center not only this year.

Infocomm MEA is a sister event of Integrated Systems Europe organized by the Asian chapter of Infocomm International. While ISE is the world’s largest digital signage show, public displays and software are not as dominating in Dubai as in Amsterdam till now.
