The Desigual Store in the main Amsterdam shopping street Kalverstraat has been equipped with the latest digital signage concept of the Spanish fast fashion retailer. Prior the company had used large LED board modules with low pixel pitch and basic content. The new concept uses LCD displays as single screens or as video walls. In this shop both solutions have been installed. At the entrance a 1x4 video wall with 55” displays is integrated into the shop furnishing. The technical integration of both installations is good, however the single screens are mounted directly onto the wall and are not integrated into the shop furnishings like the video wall. The content is fashion runway videos combined with current offers.

The other installation is situated in the back of the shop behind the cashier counter. Three large 55” displays are mounted in a row in portrait format. The content is the same as in the first installation only without the current offers. The overall impression of the employed digital signage solution is very good.
