The Levi´s store in Regent Street showed a non-permanent digital signage installation during the survey period. A large format LED board was used as backdrop for a rectangular promotion area directly next to the entrance. The rest of the promotion area was taken up by different exhibition items (products or items ideally connected to the products) which were freely standing on the floor or hanging from the ceiling. The installation showed an image video for a current product campaign. The LED board was freestanding with light textile screens to hide the backside of the installation. Therefore no security against misuse was in place. In temporary installations this concern has always to be weight against the possible costs of such measures. The conceptual integration of the digital media in the promotion area was a well one and gave a coherent impression.
