Schuh Oxford Street 470
The Schuh store on Oxford Street 470 shows the usual Schuh shop window Digital Signage installation. Two 42” LCD display in landscape format directly integrated in the shop window furnishing. The technical integration is good. However the single screen installation is not up to date with other Digital Signage installations in the fashion retail environment (the project was rolled out 2009/10). Today you only can create a recognizable impact with the customer by deploying video wall or large LED board solutions. The Edinburgh-based fashion footwear retailer has various footwear brands on sale and therefore created templates for each company they brand to maximize impact. The Digital Signage installation will also be used to communicate to customers when the stores are closed by pointing them to their website and e based purchasing system.
