Douglas Mega-Store

More display are almost impossible. At Douglas Mega-Store you will notice that someone seriously thought about the right way of using digital signage. At the entrance you are welcomed by a vertically installed screen with a floor plan and image advertisement. Right after that you can see the small event area which for example is used for live makeup tutorials. What stands out here is the huge 6x4 video wall. It is extending over two floors shows well prepared and technically flawless content. Above the shelves with the nail polish they mounted four screens which show advertisements of nail polish. Two from the ceiling coming back-to-back screens are used as signs. The use of two beamers for a bigger representation is very interesting. The problem is that there is too much light so the projection in the store is too weak. In two shelves you can find screens that although only show static pictures but they exactly advertise what is in the shelf underneath. In addition there are also two service terminals that offers access to the Douglas online shop and other services to the costumers. The use of screens doesn’t even stop at the card readers. Each of them have small screens with advertisement. In total the installation was successful except the projection.
